Spiritual Gifts

I’m often asked about spiritual gifts. Most want a simple answer. There isn’t one. Of course, there are the spiritual gifts that Paul mentions in 1 Corinthians chapter 12. These get the most focus, especially from Pentecostals. But there are other spiritual gifts. Romans 12:6 speaks of spiritual gifts, but places them in a broader category, including preaching, ministering, exhorting etc. Hebrews 2: 4 speaks of gifts of the Holy Spirit, but doesn’t necessarily reference the ones cited by Paul.

My personal favorite, and the one I feel that God has most gifted me with, is “discerning of spirits” (KJV) or “distinguishing between spirits” (NIV), mentioned in 1 Corinthians 12:10. There are several ways to look at this gift. First, it obviously refers to the detection of demons. But it also can be broadened to include insights about human behavior, the “spirit” in which an individual operates. (Often this is an awareness of a person’s spiritual fruit or lack thereof.) Sometimes I discern spirits visually, by looking at a person, and at other times with a God-given, intuitive sense. I’ve not always been as good at this as I am now. Age, maturity, and a lot of experience has helped to refine the operation of this gift. It doesn’t function with a 100% certainty, and I don’t feel It working through me all the time. But as with anything, practice makes, if not perfect, better accuracy.

Let me be clear. The discerning of spirits is not guesswork, suspicion, curiosity, or mere behavioral insight. It goes beyond natural “horse-sense” to a realm of prophetic insight. And anyone walking in this gift must be careful to avoid being judgmental, since discernment can too easily be confused with prejudice or private opinions. Nevertheless, it is something that can be strongly felt and judiciously utilized. In this age of perverted, demonic evil all around us, it may the one gift Christians need most!

To those who feel called to deliverance, especially students and alumni of our International School of exorcism, I recommend this gift as one to be earnestly desired (1 Corinthians 12:31). Seek it, cultivate it, and subject it to peer review (accountability to spiritual authority). Humbly ask the Lord for wisdom on how best to let it operate in your life, not for your own edification, but for the sake of setting free the captives of Satan.

An encouraging word: REJOICE!

Yesterday was one of those days when I didn’t feel much like praising the Lord; probably a combination of fatigue and stress. Then I remembered the words of Phil 4:4: Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice! “No way,” my emotions said. Then I remembered the several times that I’ve visited Paul’s prison in Rome. It was just a hole carved out of rock, leading to small room not much bigger than most bathrooms today. It was solid stone on every side. Cold. Damp. Dark. Beyond miserable. If Paul could take pen in hand and, in those circumstances, and tell the Philippians to always rejoice, perhaps I too could praise the Lord for just this one day. The results were amazing. Try it.

Incredulity

“Incredulity” is one of those impressive words that carries more weight than its somewhat obscure meaning. It’s defined as the unwillingness to believe something, or more extremely, the willful refusal to accept the truth. I assert that this state of mind is one of the biggest problems facing evangelical Christians. For the most part, born again believers aren’t heretics. They don’t deny the cardinal truths of the gospel, such as the resurrection. And they aren’t apostates, having totally turned from the faith. But they suffer from selective incredulity. They pick and choose the most comfortable parts of the gospel, and remain incredulous of the rest, especially the commands of Christ to cast out demons.

As I’ve stated many times in these blogs, the proof is objectively overwhelming. Followers of Christ can be afflicted by demons to the point of having their sentient identities periodically overwhelmed by indwelling, evil spirits. Luke’s gospel, chapter 8, speaks of the entourage that followed Christ. Mentioned are the 12 disciples and “certain women who had been healed of evil spirits” (Luke 8:2), Mary Magdalene being one of them. We don’t know how many women there were or the facts concerning their exorcisms. The text is silent as to whether they were first delivered and then followed Christ, or whether they became disciples and then were exorcised. What if they were set free after believing in Christ? To most Christians today, such a suggestion reeks of incredulity. As we teach in our International School of Exorcism, the turning of the water into wine in Cana was not necessarily Christ’s first miracle. In Mark, chapter one, it was the exorcism of the godly Jew in the Synagogue on the Sabbath.

The attitude of incredulity also afflicts the idea that we should be casting out demons today. In Matthew 10:1, Mark 6:7, and Luke 9:1-2 Jesus told the twelve disciples to cast out demons. Clearly, Jesus intentionally gave them this mission and they fulfilled this command in action (Mark 6:13). Why aren’t more doing it today? That is truly incredulous.

An encouraging word: OVERCOME EVIL WITH GOOD

It might be supposed that, because I constantly deal with demons, my life is a little depressing. Imagine what it’s like to regularly uncover the seamier side of life and confront despicable schemes of Satan. How do I survive emotionally and spiritually? By remembering the words of Romans 12:21, “Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.” Acts 10:38 says that Jesus “went around doing good and healing all who were under the power of the devil.” The best way to get one’s mind off the overwhelming sense of evil around us is to do good in the name of God.

Psychiatry and Possession

. I am indebted to my good friend, Pastor Steve Strader, in Lakeland Florida, for passing on a fascinating new report entitled “Psychiatrist Admits Mental Illness is Caused by Demonic Possession.” (The full account can be found at: http://yournewswire.com/psychiatrist-admits-mental-illness-is-caused-by-demonic-possession/).

Richard Gallagher, board-certified psychiatrist and professor of clinical psychiatry at New York Medical College, admits to having personally encountered demonic possession. A priest had invited his opinion about a woman who claimed to be a “Queen” of Satan. He relates that this woman spoke multiple languages she didn’t know (a phenomenon I’ve witnessed hundreds of times) and possessed paranormal ability to reveal facts to individuals that no one knew.

Gallagher says he’s consulted on hundreds of possession cases spanning more than two decades. Some cases he observed were medical conditions; but others he acknowledges were possession by “evil spirits.” Gallagher says, “I’ve seen the real thing.” He cites instances of “trance, enormous strength, even levitation and hidden knowledge.” The doctor says, “I have seen more cases of possession than any other physician in the world.” His final word on the subject is, “For any person of science or faith, it should be impossible to turn one’s back on a tormented soul.”

Gallagher is a confessing Catholic, so that made his conclusions a little easier. My question is this: Why should it be any more difficult for an evangelical Christian to accept such things? Our ministry spans more than four decades and more than 40,000 documented cases of exorcism. Our books have numerous accounts of such instances. Our YouTube site hosts nearly 300 live encounters with demonic possession. The people you see are real. Many are known to their pastors as well as families and friends. Their torment and their freedom is documented, and they are living proof of exorcism’s efficacy.

If you have an unbelieving friend, or a skeptical pastor, point him/her to this article. Force the issue to face the facts. Get my books, such as “Dealing with Demons,” “Jezebel,” and “Curse Breaking.” Enroll in our International School of Exorcism. (To enroll CLICK HERE.) Your honest investigation may lead to the deliverance of someone you love, or even yourself. Get out of the Dark Ages of denial regarding demonic activity. Psychiatry and belief in possession are not contradictory and neither are the words “Christian” and “demonized!

An encouraging word: LET GOD JUDGE YOU

“Judge me Lord.” That statement of David in Psalm 26:1 is an appeal to God to vindicate the psalmist’s character, who goes on the say, “I have walked in integrity.” David isn’t asking for mere self-examination. He wants Divine inspection of his character. He is asking the Lord of the Universe, who knows him better than he knows himself, to pass judgment on his life. Are you and I willing to do that? Do we really want God inspecting our motives and actions? We should, because that is the only path to a clean heart.

Preposterous Preachers

Let me be clear from the start about two things. I am using the word “preposterous” in the sense of “contrary to reason,” not stupid or ridiculous. Also, I’m going to focus on a particular preacher, because that’s the inspiration for this blog. I was browsing a Christian web site which promoted a sermon called “What every person needs to know about demons.” I am certainly open to learning anything I’ve missed when it comes to this topic. So I clicked on the YouTube link to a message by Francis Chan. To those unfamiliar with Chan, a Chinese-American, he once pastored a California megachurch but resigned to pursue other aspects of his calling, including writing. He’s a popular speaker on the evangelical circuit and widely respected. His words carry weight. So when he says that his audience is about the discover what they need to know about demons, that’s noteworthy.

I listened carefully to the 45 minute sermon, which was basic, elemental theology about Satan and demons. Nothing to rock any evangelical’s boat. And no unique insights that a committed Christian woldn’t already now. The message was way over-hyped and unrevealing. But that’s not my concern. No harm, no foul here. Hey, we need more preachers who at least bring up the subject of demons. Although I don’t personally know Chan, I presume from his spiritual credentials that he’s a good man who is sincerely comittted to spreading the gospel.

So why this blog? Over and over in his message Chan kept saying, and these are direct quotes, “If the Holy Spirit possesses your body, you can’t be possessed by a demon.” And, “If you are indwelt by God, no one else is coming in.” Worse yet, “You have to invite a demon into your life.” As to the later, not true. Check out almost any of our nearly 300 exorcisms posted on YouTube and you’ll witness born-again Christians who were born with demons, because of ancestral curses. These individuals didn’t invite demons into their souls, their ancestors did. We’ve documented more than 40,000 exorcisms, most of them performed on saved, followers of Christ. Christians can and do have demons. No one who actually practices deliverance would take Chan’s position seriously. He may be a good, and even great man of God, but he doesn’t do delivernace. He doesn’t cast out real demons from the kind of people you see on our YouTube Exorcism Channel.

Chan, like many other preposterous preachers (when it comes to to the topic of demons), are greatly used of the Lord in their area of calling. Wonderful, but why must they venture into an area they empirically, historically, and biblically know little about? Why do they insist upon directly or indirectly impugning the motives and methods of other sincere Christians who know from theology and experience that demons can inhabit the souls of believers

Chan’s message about demons wouldn’t fit in Africa. It wouldn’t be considered credible in Asia. Pastors in the Third World know that Christians can have demons. For example, check out a book I’m currently reading, “I Am Not Afraid.” It’s a serious theological study of Christian demonization from a mainistream Lutheran perspective, an epistemological look at demonic activity and exorcism among liturgical believers on the island of Madagascar.

I want to be gracious to preachers like Chan, but this war against exorcism and deliverance has to end. Christians can sometimes be demonized and they do need exorcism! Anyone with doubts needs to enroll in our International School of Exorcism which contains historical and biblical evidence regarding what every person REALLY needs to know about demons. If by chance Chan reads this blog, I offer him a complimentary enrollment.

An encouraging word: SATAN WANTS YOUR FAITH

Faith is a critical element of Christian living. The word “faith” appears countless time in both Old and New Testaments. Without faith, you can’t please God (Heb. 11:6) but with faith you can be saved (Eph. 2:8). Faith brings fulfilled promises, healing, hope, and deliverance. In the hometown of Jesus, he couldn’t do many miracles because of unbelief. It stands to reason that if God wants your faith, Satan does too. Faith in horoscopes, fortune telling, séances, psychics and so on. To whom will you direct your faith?

Exorcism Arising

We just completed our first-ever convention of the International School of Exorcism® (ISE). Scores gathered in Lakeland, Florida for, what was billed as, the largest gathering of trained exorcists in the history of the church. Pictured on the masthead above is a portion of those attending the First Annual International School of Exorcism Convention. They came from across America, as well as Australia, Canada, the Caribbean, and other countries. Their mission was to network, fellowship, worship, and learn. Two intensive days of teaching from our new Advanced Academy of Deliverance® highlighted the official sessions. Testimonies abounded of changed lives, those previously bound by Satan, who have now been delivered and have completed all 30 ISE Courses. They celebrated their training and certification as professionally-trained exorcists. The final session featured praise and worship, followed by an impartation ceremony. Bob, Laura, and the leadership of ISE prayed for special enduement of the Holy Spirit upon those present.

This is just the beginning! In less than three years, the School of Exorcism has trained 600+ students from more than 30 countries. The School has provided them a historical and biblical basis for exorcism, as well as an understanding of the psychological and practical aspects of casting out demons. No such body of information, in such depth, has ever been compiled in all church history; a sad commentary, but a hopeful one, as well. Our mission is to raise up an army of spiritual warriors, theologically, historically, and psychologically grounded; to equip them with knowledge and practical experience, to fulfill the command of Christ to cast out demons in HIS name.

Exorcism is arising. The future is exciting. The possibilities for the Lord are unlimited. Be part of this historic movement by enrolling today, and be at the Second International Convention next year!

An encouraging word: GOD SITS FOREVER

The Lord sits as King forever” (Psalm 29:10). What a magnificent thought. Satan may be the “god of this world,” (2 Corinthians 4:4), but that position is temporary. From eternity past to eternity future, it is God whose reign has no end. Being seated is a sign of royal power and dominion. He has no need to strive, to walk about persuading, as the devil does (Job 1:7). The Lord has spoken through His word. He has acted through the sending of His son. And now the Almighty sits, awaiting the completion of all things. He reigns forever!

Historical Revisionism

“Historical revisionism” is usually an academic pursuit, the scholarly challenge to orthodox views of the past. It’s usually done as the result of new facts or evidence that sheds different light on former events. The purpose is to refine the view of an historical event based on new information. Such an arcane academic art may not mean much to most people, but it becomes a potentially dangerous practice when it invades past views with a revised spiritual perspective. This came to my mind during our recent European Mission, the day I visited Stonehenge.

Having traveled to more than 100 countries there’s not a lot I haven’t seen. But in the half-dozen times I’ve been to England, I had never visited those ancient monolithic monuments on Salisbury Plain. On this mission, with a very heavy schedule of seminars and Encounters, there was little time to be a tourist. But on a free afternoon in England I decided that, from a spiritual standpoint, Stonehenge was a must.

This ancient ring of standing stones, each 13 feet high and weighing 25 tons, was constructed 4-5,000 years ago. Its definitive purpose is shrouded in history. Many bones have been found there, leading some to say it was a burial site. But the setting of the stones with regards to the solstices and equinoxes clearly indicates a ritual purpose. Theories abound regarding how the stones were brought to this location and so precisely positioned. But the real controversy surrounds to what purpose such a Herculean task was engaged.

It’s not fashionable to speak of Stonehenge as a location of demonic activities. Decades ago that was a plausible explanation. Not today. Historical revisionism has taken over. As I intensely studied every aspect of Stonehenge, reading all the markers and literature provided for tourists, not one mention was made of ritual sacrifice. This UNESCO/World Heritage-sanctioned site avoids admitting that, even day, witches, pagans, and Neo-druids hallow this spot, and receive special dispensation to practice witchcraft ceremonies there. But despite politically correct efforts to evict the Druids and downplay their affection for Stonehenge, such groups revere the spot as an energy center of supernatural power.

Who were the Druids that archaeologist would rather ignore? Ancient Greek and Roman writers define them as practitioners of human sacrifice. Caesar wrote of them constructing large wooden effigies, a “wicker-man” (Can we all say, “Burning Man” in the Nevada desert?) in which to burn victims alive. But as I walked about Stonehenge, there were no references to any of this. And one more note. In countless exorcisms, demons ancestrally connected to ancient Gaul have spoken of the Druids and their murderous connections to Stonehenge. While such evidence may not be admissible as archaeological evidence, I question why the current political custodians of Stonehenge are so intent on purging this part of England’s unsavory past with historical revisionism. If the reader has ancestors from England or Ireland, get my book “Curse Breaking” and start immediately to tear down any spiritual strongholds of your forebears who may go back to the builders of Stonehenge.

An encouraging word: WE HAVE AN ANCHOR

In a world that denies the reality of God and the devil, Christians have a forceful message to convey. The Bible alone gives us a true understanding of evil’s origin and the hope of humanity to overcome all that isn’t good. It’s simple. Satan fell, Adam sinned, and it’s been downhill ever since. But Christ came, died on the cross and conquered our iniquities by the shedding of His blood. Society at-large may be confused about the causes of misfortune and wonder how to handle the craziness of our times, but as Christians we have an Anchor (Hebrews 6:19) and we have answers. Go share those answers with others!

Cathedrals and the Devil

As I quietly and reverently walked through this ancient edifice, I was struck by this painting, on display in a building which is essentially a museum, certainly not a place overcrowded with worshippers. There, in the middle of this venerable church, was an artistic rendering of what I deal with almost every day of my life. Archangel Michael was depicted vanquishing the powers of darkness. There could be no mistake that this artist from nearly 500 years ago took demons as seriously as I do. This oil was no psychological construct of inner angst. Frans Floris took his theme quite literally, as I’m sure the priests and parishioners of his day did.

I’ve been to Europe many times and always find it remarkable that the continent is filled with such majestic houses of worship, mostly relics of the past, amazing to behold but with little practical spiritual relevance. As this painting illustrates, Europe was once alive with faith and Christian influence. Today, few attend churches. As I stood just outside this holy place, two Satanists walked by, dressed in black head to foot, and sporting T-shirts with pentagrams.

How could this happen to a continent so rife with religion centuries ago? It didn’t take place overnight. Slowly people prospered and lost their “first love” (Rev. 2:4). Clergy became more focused on power and recognition Religion became a means to an end, not the end of all man’s searching. Don’t think it can’t happen in America. It already has, to a tragic extent. We’re just a few decades behind Europe. Yet, if we read this roadmap for the signs of spiritual apostasy and lukewarm theology, we may avoid Europe’s moral decline. One way to do that is to recognize the enemy, as did Frans Floris, and join Michael in the eternal battle against the demons of Hell!

An encouraging word: BLESSED AND COVERED.

Psalm 32:1 reminds us that the man whose sins are forgiven is “blessed.” The verse goes on to say such a blessed person also has his sins “covered.” Remember how Adam and Eve covered their nakedness once God confronted them for their sin? They instinctively knew they could not talk to God without being covered. For them, there was no Cross, no Blood, no Atonement. Their evil was exposed, and they grabbed fig leaves as a way of covering shame before God. For Christians this side of the Cross, there is no need for humiliation or fig leaves when approaching God. We who are saved, have the righteousness of Christ as our covering (Philippians 3:9). Remember that if the devil tries to torment you with condemnation.

Exorcism is Inevitable

Every other week, our YouTube Exorcism Channel features an interesting question that focuses on some truth about spiritual warfare. We receive so many hundreds of questions that it’s impossible to answer all of them. Some are uniquely important. They need an immediate response. Such is the question posed by a man named Evans who lives in Nairobi, Kenya, East Africa. Evan asks, “Is it possible for a Christian who has demons to live a biblically consistent life until the demons become weak and possibly leave by themselves? Do the demons eventually find the environment uninhabitable?

No! Demons never leave of their own accord. No matter how close to the Lord an individual gets, or how uncomfortable an indwelling demon may be because of the host’s faith, that evil spirit isn’t going until he is told to go. If the host of an indwelling demon is to be completely free from evil intrusion, an exorcism is inevitable. One an evil spirit has invaded a human, it is the nature of that fallen angel to fight to occupy the territory that they claim. When confronted and made to manifest, demons say things such as, “This is my home”; “He/she wants me”; “I’ve been here too long to leave”; “I can’t give up my assignment.” Most fight tenaciously. Even weakened demons don’t voluntarily leave. The nearest I have come to a demon being cooperative is when the invading spirit says, “I don’t like it here anymore. He/she prays too much.” But even then, they must be commanded to leave.

When Jesus confronted the spirits Legion, he told them, “Come out of him” (Matthew 5:8). These evil spirits knew who Jesus was and didn’t want to suffer at His hands. In the previous verse 5:7, they begged not to be tormented. They knew that Christ was coming to the country of the Gadarenes, but they did not pre-emptively skedaddle. They knew they would suffer at the hands of Christ, the Son of God, but still stood their ground, to the point of begging not to go (Matthew 5:10). If demons didn’t leave because Jesus was about to confront them, your demons aren’t going because you fast and pray. Such spiritual preparation is important to get ready for your deliverance, but you’re still going to need an exorcism. Soaking prayer won’t do it. Healing therapy won’t suffice. Demons only obey the command of Christ to leave. To have complete freedom exorcism can’t be avoided. It’s inevitable.

An encouraging word: PRESUMPTUOUS SINS

What opens the door to addiction in a Christian’s life? Psalm 19:13 says, “Keep back thy servant also from presumptuous sins; let them not have dominion over me.” Presumptuous sins are those that you know are wrong before you do them. Have you ever thought, “I know this is wrong, but I can do it and later repent?” This is yielding your will to the enemy. If you continue, this sin will gain “dominion” over you, meaning it will get to the point that you (outside of God’s intervention) will be unable to resist it. This is how every addiction takes root! Stop addiction in its track. Repent (turn around) BEFORE you sin!

Manchester Murders

Most have understood our recent missions to war-torn Ukraine. Supporters of our ministry comprehend the vision to, each year, train more than 1,000 future pastors to cast out demons. But response to our upcoming Exorcism Invasion of Europe hasn’t had equal enthusiasm. England? Norway? Belgium? Netherlands? Ireland? Can’t I find enough demons at home without the expense of traveling across the ocean? Surely, the unspeakable tragedy in Manchester, England this past week silences any questions about why we’re taking deliverance to the great cities of Europe. The cowardly, terrorist killing of 23 young people at a pop concert forcefully emphasizes how important it is to confront Satan and his demons. Have we so soon forgotten the Belgium airport bombing of March 2016, when32 people were killed and 300 were injured? Or the 2011 slaughter in Norway when Anders Breivik murdered 69 youth at a summer camp and then set off a bomb in Oslo?

Combatting the demons behind mass murder and terrorism is needed to stop the killing. Governments must be vigilant. Security agencies and police must do their jobs. But this is ultimately a spiritual war. That’s why I’m going to Europe to drive back the devil. If we don’t, who will? No other ministry of deliverance has been so favored by the secular media and able to have a nationwide impact. God has called us for such a time as this, and we cannot stand by while innocent children are murdered. Salman Abedi, the Manchester murderer. was demon possessed. How else can we explain such an unspeakable crime? This coming Friday night, June 2, I’ll be in London, England, to take on the Powers of Darkness that want to destroy the nation of Great Britain. Pray for me. AND PLEASE support this mission.

I’ve had to charge thousands of dollars on credit card to finance mission. Consequently, we’re more than $25,000 in debt. Meeting halls in Europe are enormously expensive. Plus, hotels and plane flights getting from place to place. But we can’t stand back and wait for someone else to stand in the gap. By the time we depart Europe, we’re determined to leave behind a motivated army of Christians, aware of demonic activity, determined to fight back in the name of Jesus.

An encouraging word: HE IS YOUR LORD!

“LORD, our Lord, how majestic is your name in all the earth,” David declared in Psalm 8:1. Focus on the word “our.” The Lord God Jehovah, creator of the entire universe, ruler of all thrones and dominions, the I AM is OUR Lord. That’s a pretty big God and a very wonderful relationship. Your God is not like the Brahma of Hinduism who arose out of a lotus flower, or the Buddha of eastern mysticism who had to sit under a bodhi tree to get enlightened. Before anything was, He existed, and He now calls you his friend. His name is majestic, and He is OUR Lord. He is YOUR Lord.

Demon Weed

Here’s something you may not know. As an exorcist, I spend considerable time ministering to those addicted to all kinds of drugs. Because of this experience, I’ve observed several things about the process of addiction. First, the effect of drugs on people behaviorally and spiritually. Second, which drugs are the worst. The answer to the latter is easy, meth. It burns the brain. It induces psychosis and all kinds of mania and paranoia. Its effect is lasting, even long after a meth addict has become a Christian. But in second place to meth is pot. Weed. Marijuana. It’s a killer, but not like heroin or crack. It’s a slow killer, and it’s the drug that is a gateway to all others. Almost 100% of all demonized addicts I’ve encountered, and they number in the hundreds, started out with marijuana as their initial drug of choice. And get this. My observational data reveals that more people get demons from pot than any other drug!

Case in point. I recently did a Personal Spiritual Encounter with a pothead, a Christian, who vehemently defended his right as a Believer to smoke weed. I directed him to an online entry of the journal “Psychology Today,” one of the top 10 consumer magazines. In an article entitled “History of Cannabis in India” the magazine states, “Cannabis has a long history . . . in the Vedas, sacred Hindu texts.” The article further discloses something which I’ve known for years, namely, that marijuana (ganja, bhang) was believed by Hindus as far back as 4,000 years ago to be inhabited by “guardian angels” (read that demons). The article further states that, “The god Shiva is frequently associated with cannabis.” (Shiva, known as the god of death and destruction, is one of the three principle deities in Hinduism.)

More could be said, but isn’t this enough for any Christian to think twice about claiming Christ and smoking weed? Yet some do. I’ve met these defenders of getting high and heard all their fallacious arguments. Countless times demons manifesting in drug addicts have admitted that they got there by the gateway of marijuana and pushed their host on to harder drugs. In case the reader is too purple-hazed to get my point, pot will get you demons and those demons will spur you on to even worse drugs to seal the doom of your addiction. To avoid the demons of weed, don’t take the first whiff. That “sweet leaf” may come wafting your way with a demon you didn’t plan on getting.

An encouraging word: CHRIST IS THE ANSWER

Every day we hear about troubled souls turning to New Age quackery for help. It may be crystals, sweat lodges, vision quests, hypnosis, past life therapy or some other silliness. The story is always the same. It helps for a while but then things get worse. That’s what they tell me when they come for an exorcism. If these deceived individuals would have sought Jesus first they could have saved themselves a lot of trouble. These occult diversions don’t help and only increase the torment. CHRIST IS THE ANSWER! He promised, “My peace I give to you, not as the world gives do I give to you” (John 14:27).
