Demonic Double Trouble

A friend sent me the photo of what he’d found on the internet. I could scarcely believe what I saw. A tattoo of a Ouija board on a man’s back. What kind of insanity (or drunkenness) could lead to such a hideous, occult fleshly display is beyond my ken. This man has been hit by a double whammy, twice cursed. First, the tattoo. Our book “Curse Breaking” has a six-page analysis, pages 108-113, of the folly of being inked. Spare me your indignity that I’d indict with spiritual stupidity your pastor who spots a “sleeve” or other any epidurally damaged witness. (To order “Curse Breaking” CLICK HERE.) Among other things, I point out that pagan societies believe that the “mana,” the spiritual fore of the soul, is manifested and indwelt by tattoos. In the book I bluntly state that “consulting a tattooist is tantamount to consulting a witch doctor.” Sound radical? Read the book!

But a tattoo of a Ouija board takes the demonic danger to a whole new level. As the book of Brynne Larson (my daughter),”The Dark Side of the Supernatural,” points out (to order CLICK HERE), “A Ouija board is used to contact demons and brings heavy spiritual oppression . . . my generation is experiencing a paradigm consciousness shift in how the supernatural is viewed. We are entering a no-rules, post-biblical age when the most basic of moral boundaries no longer exist.”

Ever heard the expression, “I’ve got your back.” It usually means that someone is looking after you and protecting you from behind. In this case, “I’ve got your back” means that demons have literally engraved their presence on this misguided man. It’s going to take a lot of lasering and even more deliverance, before he’ll ever be free from this demonic double-trouble.

An encouraging word: BE BLESSED BECAUSE OF SINS FORGIVEN

“Blessed is the man to whom the LORD does not impute iniquity,” says Psalm 32:2. To be blessed is to be “happy.” And true happiness, being blessed, is knowing that God has not “imputed” to you any sin. To impute is to charge as guilty. David is saying that true blessedness comes from knowing that one’s sins are forgiven and that the Lord does not ascribe to you the moral guilt of spiritual transgression. If you are a Christian, be blessed that God lays no condemnation on you for any evil you’ve done. All your sins were placed on Jesus at the cross, and you are blessed.

Evil Images

You know the drill. Every year in October the devil trots out, via mass marketing, his worst images of evil. Skulls, the Grim Reaper, murderous clowns, sinister witches, ghosts and ghouls of all sorts, bats, vampires, skeletons, coffins, haunted houses and miscellaneous demonic visages. They’re everywhere. In your doctor’s office. At work. On billboards. And I pray not in your front yard, though perhaps on your neighbor’s doorstep. Can all of this cause any real harm?

If you belong to Christ and have no unconfessed sin, you’re in no immediate danger. “It” (inside movie reference) isn’t going to pounce on you as you walk through Wal-Mart’s display of Halloween merchandise. But that’s missing the point. The danger isn’t being possessed by a demon attached to a witch’s cloak sold for trick-or-treating. The damage is done by the constant, cultural bombardment of satanic-themed images assaulting our surroundings. It’s an evil overload on the mind that does two things.

First, evil images engender a fear factor that pervades our culture. “God has not given us the spirit of fear,” 2 Timothy 1:7 says. Fear is the antithesis of faith. One or the other will fill our thoughts. Paul clearly says that “fear” is a “spirit,” an actual demonic force, not some ephemeral emotion instilled by a frightening impulse. From my experience as an exorcist, if a person has a demon of fear, that evil spirt will be a gateway for many other demons. Don’t put out the welcome mat for fear.

Second, evil images, may gradually erode your moral fabric. Philippians 4:8 tells us that our minds should dwell on things that are “true, honest, just, pure, lovely, and of good report.” That is not the motif of Halloween. To live and work in society, we may not be able to entirely avoid these ubiquitous images of evil, but we don’t have to take them into our homes. If you are a Christian and you’ve got displays of evil Halloween images in your possession, get rid of them. They emulate a message that is diametrically opposed to what you should profess. As a follower of Christ, you want to send positive communications of faith, hope, life, love, peace, and confidence in the Lord. Don’t dilute that witness by embracing evil images.

An encouraging word: REMEMBER GOD

To every young person reading this, mark the words of Eccl. 12:1 — Remember your Creator in the days of your youth, before the days of trouble come and the years approach when you will say, “I find no pleasure in them.” When you have your whole life before you, make wise decisions early lest you live with regrets later. The most important decision is to honor God and follow the teachings of Christ. Better now than later after a squandered life has taken its toll and living has lost its pleasure.

Is Halloween Bad?

Is Halloween really that bad? The debate about the evils of Halloween take place every year during October. Several decades ago, my voice was one crying in the wilderness, issuing warnings about this devil’s day. Thankfully, many followers of Christ have become aware of the spiritual warfare being waged this month. Countless warnings can be found on the internet, and my book “Larson’s Book of Spiritual Warfare” (To order CLICK HERE.) has detailed information about the origins and satanic implications of October 31.

It’s undeniable that all the imagery of Halloween is diabolical, with the emphasis on witchcraft, death, and the macabre. It’s a night of drunkenness, celebrating all the accouterments of evil. Satanists and witches declare openly that this is their season of celebration. But a pertinent question is this: Is the holiday of Halloween really a time of increased demonic activity?

Consider this. God is omnipotent and omniscient. He is always all powerful all the time, and He is everywhere all the time. Satan is not. He must always be somewhere at some time. And his power is limited to circumstances and seasons. Even the devil’s apocalyptic intentions are restricted, as it says in Revelation 12:12, “The devil has come down to you, having great wrath, because he knows that he has a short time.” Satan must husband, conserve and focus, his evil according to the times and seasons. Halloween, for many reasons established in antiquity (as explained in “Larson’s Book of Spiritual Warfare”), is the time of year that the kingdom of darkness is most active. As an exorcist, during October I encounter more cases of possession which are more fervent and intense.

The holiday of Halloween should be eschewed by Christians and all of its evil associations shunned. It is a good time to educate people about the dangers of the demonic, and it’s definitely a time to be full out against the devil. This is no time for what I call “deliverance lite,” pathetic prayers of wishing the devil away. This is the hour of declaring war on demons and the devil and boldly facing them with the omnipotence of Christ who defeated the devil at the cross.

An encouraging word: GOD GATHERS THE WATERS

Psalm 33:7 contains a profound truth about our physical world. The Psalmist uses poetic language to describe the Lord gathering the waters of the sea into a “heap.” The Living Bible says, “vast reservoirs.” This points back to Genesis chapter one, where the Bible describes the land and water being divided from each other. Such a task is unthinkable to the human mind, so some prefer to suggest this verse is just a metaphor. But my God isn’t that small. He is capable to gathering all the waters of the world in His hands and placing them where He wills. If the Lord God can do that, just think of how he can handle your problems today. Las Vegas Demons

Stephen Paddock was the man who pulled the trigger murdering 59 people and injuring more than 500 in Las Vegas. The Vegas sin-saturated slogan, “What goes on here, stays here,” seemed suddenly cynical. Yes, the city of Las Vegas consists of more than The Strip of gambling casinos, but take away the sin of this city, the slot machines, the prostitutes, the booze, and there’s not much left. If there ever was a city saturated with evil, a modern Sodom, this is it. Should we have been surprised that the worst mass murder in U.S. history would have happened here?

The demons of Vegas only needed one demon possessed-man to make Sunday, October 1, a day of infamy. Paddock has been called mad and evil, but no one I’ve heard has been bold enough to state the obvious. A crime of this magnitude could not have been motivated by mere derangement. We know now it was well-planned and methodical. The triggered was pulled by a man who had no obvious signs of mental illness. The spiritual facts are these:

  • The casinos, where Paddock gambled enormous sums, plied him with prostitutes. How many one-flesh, soul tie demons did he pick up from such dalliances?
  • The Filipino girlfriend, Marilou Danley, whom he lived with had a brother back in the Philippines who was a “medicine man,” a witchdoctor “healer.” How many generational demons did Danley pass on to Paddock, contributing to his pool of internal evil?
  • Danley reported that Paddock would scream in torment during the night. What sort of demonic attacks was he experiencing, that he tried to assuage with his gambling obsessions?

More details substantiating Paddock’s proclivity to attract evil spirits will doubtless be forthcoming, but they will go unrecognized by the press and little noted by Christian leaders. Most Christians may have a vague sense that such an act of evil is beyond the pall of any personality disorder, but they pull back at using the word “demonic” to describe the massacre at the route 91 Harvest Festival. Not every murderer has demons, but most do. Not every compulsive gambler is possessed by evil spirits, but most are. Not everyone who has illicit sex with a prostitute gets a demon, but few escape that consequence. Not every individual with a family member practicing divination automatically inherits a spirit of witchcraft, but the majority will. Based on 40 years of experience and 40,000 documented exorcism, I can state without hesitation that Stephen Paddock was demon possessed. And I can also attest that if more Christian leaders would practice deliverance and spiritual warfare, America might be able to avoid a copycat crime.

An encouraging word: INNER HEALING

There are many ways to approach inner healing. Each ministry engaged in this spiritual realm does it a little differently. But there are two factors that shouldn’t be excluded: 1) identifying dissociative, multiple personalities, 2) confronting demons, and 3) emotional healing work (Isaiah 61:1 – “Bind up the brokenhearted”). They are like sides of a triangle, and all three are sometimes needed to bring complete deliverance. If you feel tormented or bound, reach out to our ministry. We’ll minister inner healing to you and, when necessary, deal with the demons that have caused your torment. Don’t despair. Inner healing can be the answer you need for recovering the life you’ve lost.

Addiction is a Demon

I’ve been reading “National Geographic” magazine since I was a kid. I’ve put up with the unrelenting journalistic bowing to the evolutionary hypothesis and constant pontifical posturing on the evils of humans causing global warming. Most articles are well-written and the photos of our physical world are spectacular. But a recent addition caught my attention for hammering away at the supposition that beating America’s addiction epidemic is a matter of science conquering the “disease” of addiction.

The issue makes a good point: “Addiction causes hundreds of changes in brain anatomy, chemistry, and cell-to-cell signaling, including in the gaps between neurons called synapses, which are the molecular machinery for learning. By taking advantage of the brain’s marvelous plasticity, addiction remolds neural circuits to assign supreme value to cocaine or heroin or gin, at the expenses of interests such as health, work, family or life itself.”

I see this truth almost every day. Many who schedule Personal Spiritual Encounters with me are struggling with addictions, or they bring a friend who is. In addition to the ravages done by drugs, ably described by Nat Geo above, those who see me wonder if there are also demons at work. There often is. All that brain rewiring described above makes it easy for demons to invade the mind. Sometimes demons drive a person to addiction, but more often the addiction is a doorway to demons. Sometimes that demon actually goes by the name, Addiction. But my beef with Nat Geo is the claim that addiction is a disease. Certainly, what addiction does to the body and mind may become a disease, but it’s the only “disease” you get from a voluntary moral choice. For example, our family doesn’t drink alcohol. None. Our chances of getting the “disease” of alcoholism? Zero. None of us smoke weed, abuse opioids, or inhale cocaine. Our risk of having an addiction “disease” from one of these drugs? Zero.

And because we won’t get an addiction “disease,” we aren’t going to get the demons that come with it. We’re not a perfect family but suffering an addled brain with damaged neural circuits is something we won’t face. And we won’t get the demons that come with addiction. If you weren’t raised in a healthy home, or you veered into sin unwisely and now are addicted, our Personal Encounter sessions offer hope. We’ve seen people delivered from every drug demon that’s out there. If you or someone you love is plagued by addiction, know this. You’ll never beat the “disease” of addiction without deliverance, if the cause or result of your addiction is a demon.

An encouraging word: DISPELLING DOUBT

A new atheist effort with a web site called findingdoubt.com boasts, “Have you found doubt as your personal Lord and Savior?” Members pledge to infiltrate churches and fake being saved, even speaking in tongues. Their aim is to “bow the knee to the rule of rationality.” It’s sick, and it’s sad, but it’s also to be expected. Doubt isn’t evil. Thomas had it, but one touch of the nail-scarred hand of Christ dispelled his unbelief (John 20:27). While others mock Jesus, reach out and touch Him, and in His presence all your doubts will be dispelled.

Inherited Demons

I remember where I was the moment I heard that the self-proclaimed, “King of Pop,” Michael Jackson, was dead. I was in the fitness room of a Nairobi, Kenya hotel, working out, before boarding a plane to Tanzania where I’d climb the tallest mountain in Africa, 20,000 foot Kilimanjaro. I wasn’t really surprised to hear that Jackson was dead. No one was. He was a disaster in the making most of his life. A troubled, abusive childhood that exploited his talents; countless lawsuits accusing him of child molestation; weird plastic surgery; strange friends; reclusiveness, and eccentricity to the max. That included the short, odd marriage to Debbie Rowe, who bore Jackson two children, through what was obviously a womb-for-hire nuptial. (Likely, Jackson’s Jehovah’s Witness upbringing meant he had to marry the woman who was baking his babies.)

One of those children, Paris Jackson, is all grown up, and messed, as the above doctored, topless photo shows. (We blocked out her breasts, but in the published photo, which appeared in newspapers worldwide, Jackson bares it all.) But it isn’t the nudity that concerns me most. It’s the tattoos down the front of her chest. Hindu chakra designations. For the rest of her life, minus painful laser surgery, Jackson will bare the signs of demonic, Hindu domination. These symbols represent, in yoga and meditation, the seven psychic energy centers of the spine. Based on my experience in exorcism and deliverance ministry, these are portals where demons enter and reside. (For a more detailed explanation, read “Larson’s Book of World Religions.” To order CLICK HERE.) Chakras are demonic energy centers. When ministering deliverance to someone who’s done yoga, all I have to do is place a Bible on their back to get the demons to manifest, especially at the base of the spine, or the so-called “third eye.”

Minus serious therapeutic and spiritual intervention, Paris Jackson will likely be as messed up as her father was. She has inherited his demons, and I don’t mean that figuratively. Evil spirits were there at conception because Debbi Rowe was essentially a hired prostitute with a marriage certificate. Jackson had demons, and they destroyed him. I pray that Paris meets someone who knows the Lord, and not some zany, yoga-for-Jesus Christian. She needs an exorcism. I don’t write this to condemn her, but someone has to point out the obvious. Demons are inherited and her father moonwalked his way into a lifetime of dysfunctional evil and then passed on his curses. Pray for Paris that she doesn’t go any further down her father’s road to destruction and death.

An encouraging word: PRAISE GOD NOW
A misunderstood scripture is Psalm 6:5. Speaking of the Lord, the Psalmist says, “No one remembers you when he is dead. Who praises you from the grave?” The Living Bible puts it better: “For if I die, I cannot give you glory by praising you before my friends.” When you’re dead, as a Christian, your opportunities to glorify the Lord to the lost are gone. Take advantage of every opportunity now to lift your voice in praise while you still can. In a world of discouragement, others need to know that God is alive and worthy to be praised, while you are still alive to do it. Days of Noah

It wasn’t exactly a flood of biblical proportions, but to Florida victims of hurricane Irma, it sure felt like it. Some, whose homes and possessions were inundated with water, like those victims of hurricane Harvey in Houston, must have felt a little like Noah without an ark. The bright side to this tragedy was the evidence of caring, selfless efforts by so many who lent a helping hand. Both Harvey and Irma brought out the best in many people. Scenes of children, the elderly, even pets, being rescued restored some faith in the goodness of humanity. But a sad side note to these heroic and selfless acts was this. Not only were there brisk sales of plywood to board-up homes, two other commodities topped the list of most wanted: booze and condoms. In fact, before all other staples were stripped from store shelves, these two items led the list of prized purchases.

As death and destruction loomed on the horizon, some were making sure that their cravings for sex and alcohol were satisfied. Lust and hedonism were more important than self-preservation. “As it was in the days of Noah,” Jesus warned in Luke 17:26, “so it will also be in the days of the Son of Man.” Christ described the times of the Great Flood in ordinary details: “They ate, they drank, they married wives, they were given in marriage, until the day that Noah entered the ark, and the flood came and destroyed them all.”

The people of Noah’s time were like those fools in Florida, craving condoms and booze. They too were drinking (if their consumption was only water that wouldn’t have been scripturally noteworthy) and “marrying” (a polite way of saying they were sexually focused). What happened in Texas and Florida was bad, but not exactly an ark-worthy Deluge. But beware, 2 Peter 3:12 warns that it’ll be the fire next time. (“The heavens will be dissolved, being on fire, and the elements will melt with fervent heat!”) There will be no boat big enough to escape that judgment!

An encouraging word: GOD’S MARVELOUS WORKS

I will tell of all Your marvelous work (Psalm 9:1 NKJV). I like the wording of the KJV which says “show” instead of “tell.” The great need of our hour is to actually see the miracles of God. Every week, almost every day, I am privileged to witness the supernatural in demonic manifestations and the glory of the Lord overcoming immense evil. The Christian world is full of sermons and salvation solicitations. Nothing wrong with that. But what needs to be seen is not another slickly packaged presentation but the demonstration of God’s work. By all means let’s preach the Word, but isn’t it time to see that it really works?

Jezebel and Chicomecoatl

There are times when I am ministering that the Lord gives me a word which makes all the difference in someone’s deliverance. I was doing a phone Encounter last week when such a word came: “Chicomecoatl.” The woman receiving prayer had no idea what I was talking about, but the demons did. They manifested immediately with screaming and snake-like hissing.

The woman suffered physically from a massive cyst in her body. She revealed that her ancestors had come from Mexico, and instantly it all fit together. Within minutes I confronted both Chicomecoatl (the Aztec equivalent of Jezebel) and Quetzalcoatl (the Aztec counterpart to Lucifer). Chicomecoatl, goddess of seven snakes, revealed that cancer had been put upon this individual. Many generations ago, an ancestor was sacrificed by the Aztecs, decapitated to appease these hideous gods. By the grace of Christ, both these hideous demons were cast out, taking the spirit of Cancer with them. This woman intends to follow up our phone Encounter with a one-on-one Personal Encounter when I’m in a city near her in a few weeks. Because of her phone deliverance, she’s also enrolling in our International School of Exorcism!

How sad that many Christian leaders teach that followers of Christ can’t have demons. The woman mentioned above goes to such a church, pastored by a well-known minister, whose name you’d know. Obviously, she got no help there. Even many deliverance ministries won’t take this much-needed ministry to the next level. We do, and will continue to seek more revelation about how to overcome the kingdom of darkness. In our age of evil, a short prayer, even an “out in the name of Jesus” command, won’t always banish evil spirits. Sometimes the Lord needs to give a word, even if it’s the name of an obscure demon from hundreds of years ago. Those who do believe in deliverance, need to have open ears and hearts to hear what the Holy Spirit may be saying.

An encouraging word: TWO JUDGMENTS

Scripture speaks of two judgments at the end of time, The Great White Throne Judgment (Revelation 20) and the Judgment Seat of Christ (2 Cor. 5). Those who rejected Christ will be at the former for a final rendering of their evil in relationship to the righteousness of Christ and “according to their works.” The latter, of which Paul speaks, will be a time of handing out rewards for faithfulness to the Lord. Sinners won’t be there. There will no mention of sin, for those transgressions have been blotted out by the blood of Jesus. Which of the two judgments do you want to face at death?

America Gone Crazy

Is the body politic of America losing its mind? Just weeks ago, a statue was nothing more than a relic of recognition related to some long-forgotten individual. Now, such symbols are flashpoints of cultural divide. Last month, Donald Trump was our controversial new twitter President. Now, TV pundits and psychiatrists are weighing in on his sanity. If you ask me, it’s America that is in danger of losing its mind. Take the case of what happened a few days ago in St. Louis, Missouri.

Police were called to the residence of a black man, who had transgendered to a woman, who came at police with a knife. He/she, was shot dead after attacking and wounding an officer. That led to a black/transgendered “black-trans-lives-matter” protest march. During the march, protesters converged on a white man in a car, and began to pummel his vehicle. He apparently panicked and drove into some of the marchers, though not seriously injuring any of them. That driver, not the marchers, was arrested.

If your sense of political correctness about all this is confused, you’re likely not alone. It almost makes one want to stay home and avoid all human contact, lest someone be offended by something which last year, or even last week, wouldn’t have been an issue of contention. And don’t dare say that there was possible fault on “both sides,” or you’ll be branded a bigot by some cultural storm trooper who has decided that your right of free speech ended with the election of a Republican President.

In the midst of all this, bigots, hate-mongers of the left and right, Antifa anarchists, and sexual stigmatizers of all persuasions have seized the day. Everyone seems offended at something. Better not say what you think or offer an opinion that hasn’t passed the muster of self-appointed defenders the latest cause célèbre. In Canada, a judge in Ontario has been ordered to appear before a disciplinary panel of his peers, because, are you ready for this, he was seen wearing a Trump “Make America Great Again!” cap. No, I’m not kidding. It was reported in, of all places, “The New York Times.”

Satan has got to love this. He is the author of confusion (1 Cor. 14:33) and discord (Prov. 6:19). He foments strife and contention (Prov. 13:10). In society, and in the church, the devil delights in sowing rebellion and division. His demons pit us against one another, and any excuse will do. We all need to remember the words of Psalm 133:1, “How good and pleasant it is when brothers live together in unity.”

An encouraging word: ON BEING A PILGRIM

Don’t you sometimes feel like your feet are in two different worlds? One, in the life you live on earth, and the other in heaven? I do. Like this week when a judge ruled that a high school football coach couldn’t kneel in the middle of the field, after the game, and give thanks to God . The logic of those opposing prayer is so satanic it’s hard to feel at home in America any more. I feel like the heroes of Hebrews chapter 11 (verse 16) of whom it is said, “They desire a better country-a heavenly one.” I intend to do my best to “occupy” my culture and country and fight for what’s right. But I remind myself ever so often, I am like those who were as “strangers and pilgrims on the earth.” I am a pilgrim here. My home is heaven.

Artificial Intelligence

Don’t worry about being hit on the highway by a driverless automobile. Something worse this way comes. The race is on to produce artificial intelligence, AI for short. Silicon Valley and America’s tech industry are feverishly working to come up with machines approximating human intelligence. But more than that, scientists want to devise a Hal-Space-Odyssey-like machine that can “think” rationally, be aware of its surroundings, and achieve its programmed goals without ongoing human help. The sex industry wants in on this creative curve. So-called sex-bots, copulating robots, are already used in European brothels. There are even child-like simulations for perverts of such predilections. With the leftist, liberal bent of companies like Google and Facebook, do we really think that they’d allow conservative, Christian principles to guide their exploratory impulses?

A recent article in the Wall Street Journal (July 15-16, 2017) warned, “Facebook recently announced that it is trying to build ‘optical neuroimaging systems’ that would allow users to direct their digital lives just by thinking. If Facebook succeeds in creating brain-computer interface, will we be prepared to welcome such corporate access to our very thoughts?”

Case in point. YouTube, owned by Google, recently flagged almost two-thirds of the 300 exorcisms on our YouTube Exorcism Channel as “offensive.” This means, among other things, that advertisers cannot place ads there, as has happened in the past. (The revenue was small, but every little bit helps.) And what was deemed offensive? YouTube refuses to say, and all power is in their hands. We do know that this censorship started with them flagging any mention of Islam in our videos. Obviously, their algorithms are set to a politically correct standard of permitting attacks on Christians but nary a discouraging word about Islam.

AI is on the way, and Christians must be vigilant as to what lies ahead. Sex robots with indwelling spirits of Jezebel? Don’t laugh. Stranger things have happened. Satan may have things in store we’ve never dreamed of. Lord Jesus, come quickly (Rev. 22:20)!

An encouraging word: GOD ENDURES

Not much in our world lasts long, but “the Lord shall endure forever” (Psalm 9:7). As society and government rapidly moves further and further away from God, it’s comforting to know that He hasn’t moved. The Almighty is not affected by the petulance of man’s arrogant desire to rid Him from our daily lives. While America disregards God’s law to a greater extent with each passing day, we need to be reminded of the rest of this verse: “He has prepared His throne for judgment.” We need it written large over the entry to every building of our government: HE WILL ENDURE AND HE WILL JUDGE!
