Roseanne’s Racist Rant

By now the whole universe knows about Roseanne’s racist rant on twitter. It’s caused more consternation than wondering whether Trump and Kim Jong-un are going to avoid nuclear war. Barr tweeted that a former top aide to Obama, Valerie Jarrett (an African American) was a combination of the “Muslim brotherhood and planet of the apes had a baby.” Because her new sitcom was about a pro-Trump, middle-American family, liberals went nuts. ABC-TV immediately canceled the show, even though it was the network’s biggest source of revenue. Politicians and entertainment types thumped their self-righteous chests for having taken the high road to railroad Roseanne. FACT: If she were using a real comparison of Jarrett to a monkey, a hateful, old stereotype, she deserved censure. That’s disgusting. But I’ve got another take on this. Perhaps Roseanne didn’t really say it. It was her tweet, but not her words.

What do I mean? As far back as 1994, Barr acknowledged suffering from Dissociative Identity Disorder (DID). Roseanne has MPD—Multiple Personality Disorder. Two decades ago, through therapy, she identified at least seven alter personalities. One was called “Somebody” and the another “Nobody.” Others included Baby, Cindy, Joey and Heather. Students of our International School of Exorcism (to enroll CLICK HERE.) understand the magnitude of this disorder. If an individual has DID, it’s possible for an alter personality to say and do things that the core person would never do or say. They might not even know what was said and done. From what has been published in the past about Roseanne’s disorder, it’s possible that the racist rant was the work of an inner identity.

Roseanne’s DID came from her sexual abuse of being incested as a child, information she has publicly revealed. Roseanne says that her mother abused her about the age of 6. She also says her father sexually molested her until she left home at age 17. If that is true, as a counselor and an exorcist I can deduce this much. Roseanne is a multiple, that’s how she has survived. She also has demons from the incest, and they have been working for decades to humiliate and destroy her. In no way do I excuse her racist rant, but it’s possible she has a hateful, self-destructive alter, driven by demons, who tweeted things that the real Roseanne did not say. If so, I condemn what was said, but I pray for her alters who felt driven to say it. Roseanne, you tried therapy which only partially fixed the problem. Now, try Jesus, your Jewish Messiah. He can heal you and your alters so you won’t live in fear of saying something like this racist rant again.

An Encouraging word: GOD’S WAYS

One of the most difficult lessons we must learn as Christians is that God’s ways are not our ways. Psalm 25:4-5 puts it this way: Show me your way, O Lord, teach me your paths, guide me in your truth. Successful Christian living is discovering the ways, paths, and truths of God, His will for our lives. New Christians quickly learn that spiritual accomplishments are seldom achieved by human logic. If you try to let your rational mind make all your important decisions, many of your plans will fail. Pray David’s prayer, and find HIS leading in your life.

Royal Wedding Curses

The royal wedding of Meghan Markle and Prince Harry is history. More than one billion watched the pomp and circumstance of the most anticipated exchange of marital vows in decades. Now that this grand affair is over, the happy couple are on their way to wedded bliss, or at least that’s the expectation. Who wouldn’t want to wish them well? But once the honeymoon is over, Meghan and Harry will have more to worry about than dodging paparazzi. Meghan has inherited curses that lurk behind the obvious affection that she has for Harry.

Her parents, Tom and Doria, were married December 23, 1979, not in a church, but in the Self-Realization Fellowship (SRF) temple in Los Angles. The ceremony was presided over by a Buddhist priest by the name of Bhaktananda, which means “bliss through devotion” [in this case devotion to Kriya Yoga]. To 99% of the public that’s an eccentric fact, but to readers of my book “Larson’s Book of World Religions,” there is a different perspective. The SRF, founded by Hindu guru Paramahansa Yogananda, was the first major Hindu religious sect to take hold in America in the early 20th century. Yogananda taught “cosmic consciousness” by means of Kriya Yoga, as I point out in my book. I have dealt with many people who’ve practiced Kriya Yoga and can attest that it’s one of the most demonized forms of Eastern metaphysical practices. It focuses on raising the serpent Kundalini power through six spinal chakras to achieve “god-communion.” According to Yogananda, it was the Hindu god Krishna who gave this divine, secret mystery to Christ. Take note, Meghan’s mom, Doria Ragland, is still today a devout yoga teacher, and Meghan is also devoted to the practice. Take it from me, as an exorcist, demons acquired by Kriya Yoga are some of the most difficult to dislodge.

Such guilt by association doesn’t mean that Meghan shares the same idolatrous devotion as her mom; but even if she doesn’t, she’s still influenced by the same demonic forces that her mother has colluded with (perhaps innocently) for decades. The curses of Kriya Yoga that came upon her mother, must have passed on to daughter to some extent. This doesn’t make her a bad or evil person. She’s likely clueless about what I’ve described in this blog, and probably sees no incompatibility between yoga, her mom’s religion, and her newly acquired Church of England faith. But the following words, quoted Yogananda, from my “World Religions” book, are worth noting: “Self-Realization Fellowship is a truer message of Christianity. It is only by removing hate from our hearts [by Kriya Yoga] that we can live a Christlike life.” That blasphemy is a dangerous idea to associate with, even if it’s not your own and it’s your mother’s. May God send someone to speak truth to Meghan and Harry so that the curses of Yogananda don’t prevent them from living happily ever after.

An Encouraging word: God’s Word is Forever

“The grass withers, the flower fades . . . but the word of our God stands forever.” These words of Isaiah 40:7-8 are significant to me today, because the date of this published blog is my birthday. With passing years, especially beyond middle age, one becomes more aware of this scripture. As the years of opportunity lessen, what’s done for Jesus matters more. Whatever human efforts one makes in life to do something lasting, the passing years prove that it is only God’s Word that endures. But more important, it is eternal. Ask yourself today if what you’re doing will wither like the flowers or count for eternity.

Jezebel Volcano

By the time you read this, the lava flows, eruptions, and ash plumes from Hawaii’s Kilauea volcano may have caused even more damage than as of this date. The destruction from Kilauea has Lasted more than two weeks and displaced thousands of people. Fountains of magma are exploding “lava bombs” 100 feet into the air. Cars and homes have been engulfed by lava that crushes anything in its path. Plus, high levels of sulfur dioxide are threatening anyone who gets too near. Multiple solutions to the destruction have been offered including, flooding or bombing the lava.

In the face of such inexorable devastation, some in Hawaii are reverting to an ancient solution. Like the original inhabitants of Hawaii, they believe that the volcano is  a living goddess named Pele. Make Pele happy and the volcano dies down. In ancient times Pele would have been propitiated by throwing a virgin into the volcano’s cauldron. But since human sacrifice would now be considered murder, believers in Pele have been laying flowers and alcohol, especially vodka, wherever they find volcanic cracks in the ground. One of them said, “We are at the mercy of Pele. She’s coming back to right the wrongs of humanity. Pele and the lava are one and the same. When she comes, we move because she’s got the right of way.” This idolatrous insanity is so strong that some residents living near Kilauea have said, “I have love and respect for Pelehonuamea (Pele’s full name).”

Pele, goddess of fire and volcanoes is believed to live at the top of Kilauea. According to legend, she’s a jealous goddess who at times unleashes her fury and burns down everything in her way. By legend, she fought with her sister, the water goddess, and seduced her sister’s husband. Her brother, a shark, built a canoe for her to escape. Eventually, she had sex with a native chief, killed her younger sister, and finally murdered her native lover with fire. Sounds like Jezebel to me. I don’t believe that these eruptions are demonic. They are geologic, but those who think that booze will appease the spirit of Jezebel, of whom Pele is an archetype, better get out of the way of the lava. You can’t fight fire with firewater. By offering alcohol to what you think is a goddess, the lava may engulf you and Pele will possess you.

An Encouraging word: THE NAME OF JESUS

Most people when they hear the words of Psalm 8:1 probably think of the perennial praise song that says, “LORD our Lord, how majestic is your name in all the earth!” Perhaps more than other, those who do deliverance get a glimpse of that majesty as they witness demons bowing at the name of Jesus. Sometimes I hear evil spirits cry out, “Stop saying that name.” Just the mention of our Lord causes the powers of darkness to tremble in fear. Sadly, in culture it has become a common curse to express anger, disgust, even damning intentions. But never forget, when you are in need that there is majesty and power in the name of Jesus.

LSD Deliverance

A whole new area of deliverance may soon be needed. Students of our School of Exorcism and Advanced Academy of Deliverance know that we already have our hands full helping victims of sexual abuse, domestic violence, alcohol, and recreational drugs. Coming soon, a return to the “turn on, tune in, drop out” saga of the sixties. Neuroscientists, looking for a cure for addictions and stress disorders, think they’ve found a solution. Drop acid (or psilocybin), let a wacko psychologist take you on a guided journey of the soul, and your fears, phobias, and addictions will vanish. You’ll experience “the dissolution of one’s ego followed by a merging of the self with the nature or the universe, a mystical experience [which] can permanently shift a person’s perspective and priorities,” according to a new book entitled “How to Change Your Mind: What the New Science of Psychedelics Teaches Us About Consciousness, Dying, Addiction, Depression and Transcendence.” And this garbage isn’t coming from some stoner on a street corner with a “Please Feed Me” sign. It’s originating from research at Johns Hopkins, New York University, and UCLA, according to an article in last week’s “Wall Street Journal.”

Many studies into what is called The New Science of Psychedelics” are being explored with U. S. taxpayers’ money, courtesy of the FDA. Reported studies cite experiences with LSD and shrooms to relieve the suffering of cancer patients and get people off cigarettes. Researchers glowingly tell of people experiencing: “flying back in time to witness scenes of European history”; “dying and watching one’s soul rise from a funeral pyre on the Ganges river in India”, and “standing on the edge of the universe, witnessing the dawn of creation.” Those trained by our School of Exorcism can easily identify these experiences as satanic. We’re witnessing the marriage of science and the demonic.

Christians must not be asleep at the wheel on this one. We must speak out against this spiritual insanity. We can’t wait until a huge segment of society has been swept into this deceptive vortex of sorcery. (“Pharmakia,” psychoactive drug indulgence, is translated “sorcery” and “witchcraft” in Gal. 5:20, Rev. 9:21, 18:23, 21:8, and 22:15.) The idea of accessing the supernatural with drugs isn’t new. But today it’s gaining the endorsement of scientists and clinicians. If this new frontier of mind-bending physio-psycho therapy gains traction, we’re going to need many more trained and experienced exorcists. We’ll be working overtime to cast out the demons that the FDA and major universities are inviting to possess the souls of the unsuspecting.

An Encouraging word: DOMINION BELONGS TO GOD

I don’t know about you, but I’m growing weary of politicians and political pundits, on the left and right, who speak as if they alone had the answer to the moral and social ills of our age. They could all use a dose of humility and remember the words of Psalm 22:28: “Dominion belongs to the Lord, and He rules over the nations.” It’s a bit amusing to watch them strut and speak, like a rooster in a henyard. There will come a day when the kingdoms of this world will all bow before Christ. Don’t look to a person or program for your hope, seek the One who made all that is and has dominion over all.

Waffle House Christian Killer

Two weeks ago, I was just boarding a plane home from Nashville, Tennessee, when the news broke that a shooter had entered a breakfast joint and opened fire. The killer, 29, hailing originally from Illinois, but recently living in Nashville, was eventually caught and arraigned. Much has attention has been deservedly focused on the bravery of James Shaw Jr., who risked his life to wrest away the shooter’s gun and save many additional lives. But now that we know more about Travis Reinking, an alarming fact is clear. Not only was this young man mentally troubled (he was naked except for a jacket when he opened fire), he also came from a born-again Christian family.

Reinking was known to be quiet and respectful. Some of the time he was educated by home-schooling and the rest in a private Christian school. He didn’t drink or use drugs, but mentally he became delusional, even claiming he was going to marry pop star Taylor Swift. He once dived into a public pool wearing only a woman’s nightgown. There were other run-ins with the law, including an attempt to invade White House grounds, but Reinking remained on the loose until the Waffle House murders.

Public reaction was typical. Because the killer used an AR-15 rifle, there were the usual calls for gun control. Which brings me to the point. When will we stop demonizing guns and demonize demons? This young killer would have found any kind of weapon to slaughter, his mind was so twisted, and he was so filled with demons. How do I know he had demons? For a born-again Christian to do something so evil, it requires not only an addled mind, but a soul filled with evil spirits. I don’t know which came first, the mental illness or the demons. It doesn’t matter. As in most cases like this, the two work hand in hand. You know the slogan, “Guns don’t kill, people do.” True. But you don’t have to be an apologetic for the NRA (clarification, I’m not a member), to understand that, “Guns don’t kill, mentally deranged and demonized people do.” At least on this kind of scale.

James Shaw Jr., the hero who stopped further loss of life, was also a Christian. Immediately after being treated for a wound he received in the scuffle with Reinking, he went to church to receive prayer. His bravery saved lives. But if someone had gotten to the killer’s demons before the Waffle House massacre, no one might have died. And that’s the terrible truth that the church in America doesn’t want to face! Blame the guns, blame the sick minds. Just don’t dare suggest that even a born-again believer can have demons and be capable of carnage.

An Encouraging word: WHAT GOD SEES FROM HEAVEN

Psalm 14:2 says, The Lord looks down from heaven . . . to see if there is any who understand, any who seek God. If David asked that question nearly 3,000 years ago, we must wonder what the gaze of God sees today. Our modern inventiveness, from nanotechnology which manipulates matter on an atomic scale, to the wonders of instant anything via the Internet (including porn), has proliferated the ubiquitous availability of evil. I’m certain the Lord sees much today that grieves Him. You and I must, therefore, do our best to live holy lives so that the Lord looking down from heaven sees some who do seek him. Are you such a person?

I Can Only Imagine

Two scriptures have been bouncing around my mind this week. The first is Romans 5:20: “Where sin abounded, grace abounded much more.” I know that Paul is speaking directly of Old Testament law, but this verse also applies to all areas of life where evil seem to be winning. The second verse on my mind is Luke 18:8, a more pessimistic perspective: “When the Son of Man comes, will He really find faith on the earth?” Romans speaks of good overcoming evil, but Luke suggests that at Christ’s Second Coming many will compromise their convictions and fall from the faith.

I thought of this as Laura and I saw the Christian film, “I Can Only Imagine,” the story of MercyMe’s lead singer Bart Millard, who was raised in an abusive home in which his father brutalized him. It’s a great film that leaves most people teary-eyed at the end. It’s very moving, and a movie every Christian family should see. But on the way out of the theater I was struck by the contradiction of what I had just seen and what all the posters on the walls around me were glorifying. Every advertisement glorified upcoming movies about sexual perversion, gratuitous violence and blasphemy. How could two such diametrically opposite film subjects coexist?

That’s a moral microcosm of our world today, grace abounding with great opportunities for the Gospel, compared with precipitous spiritual declension and debauchery all around. Grace and apostasy. Good and evil. Angels and demons. Righteousness and perversity; this great film being screened in the middle of demonic lasciviousness. “I Can Only Imagine” versus the hounds of hell.

“Choose this day whom you will serve,” Joshua challenged the people of Israel (Joshua 24:15). Oh, the terror that awaits those who choose wrongly and the joy that awaits those who wisely choose the Lord. I can only imagine.

An Encouraging word: HOW GOD SEES YOU

I know a fair bit about running races. In high school and college my specialty was low hurdles. For a while, I even held the conference record for lowest time. The secret to my success was speedy legs, an ability to jump, and total focus on the hurdle in front of me. In 1 Corinthians 9:24 Paul speaks about running to get the prize of an “imperishable crown” in heaven. When younger, I ran for a ribbon or a medal. But now I race for an eternal accolade. I still keep focus on the hurdle before me, not the one behind me. Overcoming obstacles in life is all about leaving the sins of the past and forging forward for the spiritual victories of the future. Do that with the hurdles in front of you today.

Don’t Gut the Gospel

One of the best religious films I’ve seen in years is the recent release, “Paul, Apostle of Christ.” It’s the story of Paul’s last days in a dark dungeon and under house arrest in Rome. The retrospective of his life is seen through the eyes of Luke, who tells Paul’s story in the Book of Acts. Luke visits Paul in prison and in relative freedom before Nero’s ax fall on the Apostle’s neck and ends his mission to carry the gospel to the Gentiles. Gritty, minus melodrama, and factually accurate, “Paul, Apostle of Christ” is a film all Christians should see.

Yet one thing troubles me about this movie. Its message is symptomatic of modern, North American Christianity. It guts an important part of the Gospel. (I use “gut” as a verb, “to remove essential or vital parts of something.”) The script of “Paul” is faithful to Scripture, and brilliantly weaves biblical truth into the dialogue between Luke and Paul. There is a moving portrayal of Paul’s Damascus road epiphany; indelible insights into the character of Paul the man as he grapples with life’s end. But important aspects of Paul’s life and teaching are missing.

Understandably, this movie couldn’t contain every account in Acts and every significant passage in the Apostle’s epistles. But notably absent was any reference to Paul’s great exposition in Ephesians chapter six about the armor of God and the demonic forces with which we all “wrestle.” Also, the thorn in Paul’s “flesh” is never referred to, perhaps because the idea that he was tormented by a demon is too much for evangelicals to swallow. Imagine, such a holy man oppressed by a “messenger of Satan.” And “Paul” is silent about one of the most significant events in the Apostle’s life: Acts 16:16 where Luke records the casting out of evil spirits from a demon-possessed witch/fortune-teller/psychic. Paul as an exorcist? That might require too much explaining to a movie audience of seeker-friendly Christian who think casting out demons is a medieval oddity.

I don’t mean to be picky, because I do like this film; but I suspect excising all references to spiritual warfare from Luke’s writings was deliberate. Too controversial. Perhaps not theologically acceptable to most evangelicals who are cessationists when it comes to spiritual gifts and the present-day miracle of deliverance. But casting out demons IS the gospel, and the first sign of the gospel’s integrity. (Read again Mark 16:17, the Great Commission.) To remove references to spiritual warfare and deliverance from the life of Paul is an unacceptable omission, and it guts the Gospel. In Luke’s own words (Luke 4:18), Jesus came to declare freedom to the captives of Satan. That’s the Gospel for which Paul lived and died!

An Encouraging word: HOW GOD SEES YOU

A pastor friend of mine recently made the following observation, which I’ll put into my own words: There are many ways that we think about ourselves: (1) How we see ourselves, (2) How others see us, (3) How we think others see us, (4) How we want others to see us, and (5) How God sees us. One of the most important questions in life is to ask yourself how God really sees you. Paul had that insight when he wrote in Romans 3:12, “There is no one who does good, not even one.” As sinners, God sees us as unrighteous and worthy of condemnation. As saints, He sees us as forgiven and worthy of eternal life.

Don’t Debunk Deliverance

“People are beaten, berated, subjected to psychological manipulation during an exorcism.”
“Exorcism should only happen with a collaboration of professionals such as doctors.”
“Mental health issues are treated as spiritual problems that only need prayer.”
“Exorcism is incredibly rare and should seldom be attempted.”

Each of these statements was made in a recent British news story about the rise of exorcism around the world, which the reporter called “a booming industry.” It was interesting article, but not a single, active exorcist, such as me, was consulted. Instead, a litany of critics, voicing the objections above, were cited. The sense of the article was that this idea of exorcism is out of control, practiced by ignorant individuals who should leave people’s problems to the “professionals.”

I acknowledge there is some truth to these and other anti-exorcism assertions. Those seeking deliverance are sometimes subjected to unwise intervention and are emotionally mistreated. It’s true that prayer may be substituted for proper psychiatric help. But there is another side to the story. Some seek exorcism because they’re tired of being told they’re a mental case and having pills pushed on them. They are discouraged from being turned down by one priest and pastor after another who are too busy with their religious work to help a hurting soul. And let’s get this straight! True demonic torment isn’t rare, it’s common and out-of-control! And who said that an ecclesiastical hierarchy should be in charge of who receives deliverance prayer? Not Jesus. He told a rag-tag group of fishermen, tax collectors, and those socially marginalized—the two, the twelve, the seventy– to cast out demons in his name. (“He gave them power and authority to drive out demons” Luke 9:1.)

More than anyone, I understand the need for caution and careful attention to the ministry of deliverance. I’ve seen all that can go wrong, and I’ve witnessed over-zealous people do more harm than good. I’ve known of ill-advised exorcisms and over-reaching attempts to solve medical and mental problems with a shout of “out in the name of Jesus.” That’s why we’ve so carefully pursued high academic and theological standards with our International School of Exorcism and our Advanced Academy of Deliverance. We are determined to get this right, to pursue excellence in ministry and remove the stigmas of the past. But what we don’t do is give in to naysayers, most of whom don’t even believe in a real devil and real demons. People in deliverance ministry need to do a better job, not quit the job they’re doing because some “expert” warns against errant exorcist. To my fellow deliverance ministers I say, “Don’t be intimidated. Get more knowledge every day. Grow in your understanding of God’s power and Satanism chicanery.” Get on with the job of setting captives free, no matter what anyone says to debunk deliverance!

An Encouraging word: CHRISTIANS AT DEATH

Death for a Christian is much different from the passing of those who have no faith or have an occult view of the afterlife. To the atheist life is all there is and death is the end of everything. To the Eastern mystic, death is a transition to another life form, a reincarnated transmigration into whatever karma wills. To the believer in Christ, dying is to be “absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord” (2 Cor. 8:8). Christians have the hope of heaven with no need of a second chance.

How to Curse Your Boss!

Want to work your way up the corporate ladder without sleeping your way to the top? Try cursing your boss. Amazon.com will even show you how. That’s where I got the “BAD BOSS” example above: $14.99 with Amazon Prime shipping. What a deal. Before you roll your eyes, this is for real, and it comes recommended by a Business School, Wilfrid Laurier University in Ontario Canada. (And you thought those Canadians were such nice people.) Professor Lindie Liang, who suggested this revenge witchcraft, based the academic study on the idea that people in a bad job situation want to lash out at the boss but can’t without getting fired. So, why not take out their anger on an inanimate object, like a voodoo doll? Liang says, “We found a simple and harmless symbolic act of retaliation can make people feel like they’re getting even and restoring their sense of fairness.” No suggestion here of turning the other cheek, going the second mile, or a “soft answer” turning away “wrath” (Proverbs 15:1). Voodoo isn’t “harmless” and its power in places like Haiti isn’t based on “symbolism.” Black magic is real and those who practice such dark arts against others will quickly learn such evil has a boomerang effect. Cursing others is cursing yourself. Needling that bad boss will put a pin-prick of suffering in your own life. Proverbs 29:1 says, ”Don’t plot evil against your neighbor” and Proverbs 25:1 says “he who refreshes others will himself be refreshed.” The path to success in life is in blessing not cursing.

An encouraging word: RESIST THE DEVIL
Resist the devil and he will flee from you, “James 4:7 promises. For most Christians, that resistance is pathetically passive. As for rebuking Satan, that ideal is foreign in nearly all American pulpits. I’ve put it this way: “The devil doesn’t go until you tell him to go!” RESIST is an active verb requiring decision and determination. Don’t think the devil will leave you alone just because you’re a Christian. He won’t depart from his attacks and influence until you give him the order to leave you alone! March on Washington

A week ago, thousands of youth marched on Washington D. C. to promote an anti-gun message. What a farce! If you’re expecting kinder words for kids in some supposed moment of bravery and altruism, stop reading now. Of course, what the students at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida endured was traumatic and life-defining. But one can lament that awful occurrence without being supportive of a movement that quickly morphed from tragedy to political theater. As thousands jammed the streets of cities across America, it was a moment that socialist financier George Soros could love. Anyone with an ounce of political acumen could see that the gathering throng of thousands wasn’t totally a protest about killing but an often-orchestrated agenda defiant of the Second Amendment and devoid of any spiritual core. I too want to stop this insane slaughter of our young in the classrooms of our schools. But the choice isn’t between the NRA and an anti-gun picket sign. The choice our children face is between a godless America that fosters carnage such as Parkland versus a God-conscious country that extolls faith and honor above violent video games, Planned Parenthood, and irreverent athletes. I’m sure that many who marched were sincere and looking for a way to purge their pain. But without a spiritual faith, they risk carrying with them emotional scars for a very long time. Perhaps the rest of their lives. No march or sloganeering is cathartic enough to change that. Here are two simple suggestions that could make a difference: Establish mandatory, yearly classes on functional family life. Students who come from homes where parents are drug abusers, alcoholics or indulge in domestic violence are sometimes not aware that such behavior isn’t normal. Sadly, youth raised in such circumstances may have no outside reference point to realize how dysfunctional their family is. Provide an optional, spiritual time of reflection during each school day. I realize this is a multicultural minefield of possible contention, but offering this step in the right direction is better than ignoring spirituality in education. Hospitals have chapels. So do airports. Yet we’ve made our schools a religion-free zone, but it’s faith that’s the greatest inhibitor of irrational, violent actions. America isn’t likely to return quickly to faith in God the way it was five or six decades ago, but any nudge in the right direction will produce results. The best solution would be to arm some teachers with guns and ALL teachers with Bibles. And along with school counselors, how about an in-house exorcist? That’s a sure way to stop the bullets.

An encouraging word: GOD HAS A PLAN
I spend most of my ministry waging spiritual warfare. I’m constantly amazed at the complexity of Satan’s plans to destroy even one individual. In some cases, the intricacies of evil have plotted for hundreds of years to destroy one single soul. You must never underestimate the lengths to which evil will go to ruin your life. Knowing this helps me to better understand how much more God has amazing purposes for every person. “I know the plans I have for you, plans to give you hope and a future,” says Jeremiah 29:11. Be encouraged. Whatever Evil intends for you, God plans much more.
