You Can Get a Demon by LEGAL RIGHT OR OPPORTUNITY

Does it take an act of moral outrageousness to open your life to demons? No!
You can get demons by a legal right of entry or by demonic opportunity. If you understand this principle of spiritual warfare, you’ll be in a better position to protect yourself from attacks of the devil. Ephesians 4:27 (NIV) implores, “Do not give the devil a foothold.” The King James says, “give place.” This passage of Scripture explains what I’ve heard demons claim on many occasions, “I don’t have a legal right to be in this person, but I do have opportunity.”

As we teach in our International School of Exorcism, a legal right is the technicality by which a demon gains admission to a person. Call it what you like, possession, oppression, torment, harassment — the term isn’t important as this fact: If a demon is in you by some manner of occupancy, you are demonized. You need deliverance. What’s in you, needs cast out of you. But the important question is, “How did the demon get there and by what arguable justification does that evil spirit claim tenancy in the ‘house’ of your life?”

Examples of a legal right might be a specific generational, bloodline curse or a particular evil act that you committed. For example, your ancestors might have practiced idolatry and performed blood sacrifices to a false god. They granted the legal right. On the other hand, you might have gone to a psychic or put a revenge spell on someone. That is divination and witchcraft, and your active participation in such occult deeds constitutes a legal right for demonic entry that you granted. But what is opportunity? As the Bible says, it is giving place or providing a foothold for Satan.

That fourth chapter of Ephesians, which we’ve citied, gives some examples of footholds. Here are some sins of opportunity mentioned in this passage: lying, failing to speak truth, anger, holding on to wrathful thoughts and motives, stealing, failing to labor industriously, lack of charitable acts with one’s finances, corrupt communication (foul and profane language), grieving the Holy Spirit, bitterness, evil speaking, and malice. I suggest you go back and read this chapter slowly and absorb its sober warnings, because the apostle Paul gives a spiritual list of demonic opportunities. Not all such sins will lead to demonization, but the risk is there if these transgressions are not dealt with forthrightly. I am not saying that any one of these moral lapses automatically leads to demonization. But careless, deliberate indulgence of such evils may overtime give the devil opportunity.

A demonic foothold grants the possibility of spiritual torment, especially if you haven’t had curse breaking ministry to remove past generational tendencies. So, allow me to restate Ephesians 4:27 like this, “Don’t give demons an opportunity when they may not have a right.” And here’s what is also important. A legal right is canceled by confessional agreement with God and his Word. We call this curse breaking. Opportunities are annulled more gradually by correcting behavior and a progressive surrender to the Lordship of Jesus Christ. Break curses now. Identify behavioral patterns you need to start reforming. And begin the journey of deliverance to remove every opportunity of evil so you can walk in spiritual freedom.

Top 5 Demons in Hell

I’m going to name the top five demons you’ll likely face sometime in life, or in deliverance ministry. Be watching for a follow up to this. I’ll soon release another blog in which I announce an additional five demons that affect your emotions and behavior. I’ve broken down these 10 demons this way. The first Top Five are demonic principalities, quintessentially the most complete embodiment of evil. The other five are demons rooted in human feelings and actions. The Top Five demons of classical Satan worship are Lucifer, Leviathan, Jezebel, Lilith, and Mammon. These are not necessarily the most powerful evil spirits, but they are the most active. Their presence in human conduct is more common than other high-level spirits like Apollyon, Baphomet, Asmodeus, and Beelzebub, for example.

These Top Five “classic” demons are examples of consummate evil. They are ruling spirits, not acquired by casual sin or minor moral failures. They are often conjured. These are the big boys who rule institutions, legacies, and occult agencies. For those new to this area of demonological understanding, there are many demons laying claim to one name. There are many Jezebels and Leviathans, for example. The prototypical behavior and actions of these evil spirits has to do with the rank of their name. All Lucifer demons and all Leviathan demons act similarly. Something else you need to know. One person can have more than one of these Top Five. Maybe all five. Or more than one of each, such as having several Jezebels.

Number one is Lucifer. He is the most powerful. He orchestrates the actions of others top demons. He is usually aloof and doesn’t present himself unless he must, leaving the dirty work to the others. Lucifer is like his namesake, filled with arrogance and rebellion. He often works in concert with Lilith since they are both part of the original Edenic deception. You can read about him in Isaiah 14:12.

Number two is Leviathan the dragon, the serpent of the deep spoken of in Job 41. He is snakelike and his trademark is pride. He is often accompanied by a nest of other snakes, some small and some large like Python and Kundalini. His haughtiness is readily detected when he manifests.

Numbers three and four are Jezebel and Lilith. Though they hate each other and vie for dominance, both function through similar sins and behavioral patterns, such as lust, spiritual manipulation, and control. These sisters of evil are feminized in identity and often act to destroy women (though they may also inhabit men). They are present whenever there is sexual abuse and perversion.

Number five is Mammon who, like Lucifer, is more aloof. He often hides behind Jezebel, as explained in my book “Jezebel, Defeating Your #1 Spiritual Enemy.” Mammon mainly restricts his action to the area of greed, power, and avarice. Infirmities and diseases are often attached to him, the price followers pay for the money and influence that they gain by serving this evil spirit. He is all about ill-gotten wealth which he offers in exchange for torment of the mind and body.

Few people have all five of these top generals of evil. Many have two or three. Others only one. To spiritually accommodate these insurrectionists requires extensive generational iniquities and a lot of witchcraft in the bloodline. As we teach in our Advanced Academy of Deliverance, demons are often typically found in certain family genealogies, but these Top Five are cross-cultural and inhabit a wide range of ancestry.

How would you know if you have one or more of these Top Five demons? Go to demontest.org and check out our statistically weighed analysis of the probability. Schedule a personal encounter with me, online or face-to-face. Because of my experience in deliverance, I know the right questions to ask based on the relevant information about your life.

Don’t leave your spiritual health to chance. Just as a physical pain would push you to see a doctor, so should spiritual misery lead you to someone knowledgeable about deliverance. To me, and to those I’ve trained, it’s somewhat easy to spot when one or more of these Top Five denizens of the deep are present. Get the door to these evil spirits closed quickly by an encounter, by enrolling in our School of Exorcism, or by reading our books. And be looking for my next list of the Top Five most prominent demons affecting your behavior: Rejection, Worthlessness, Hate, Fear, and Lust.

Prince Harry & Meghan, Witchcraft Power Couple?

If ever a couple typified the Jezebel-Ahab complex, it’s Prince Harry and his wife Meghan Markle. From the start, it appears that Meghan has infected Harry with her controlling spirit to push the Church of England baptized prince more and more into New Age witchcraft. The latest example is the new Silicone Valley business startup they are pushing called BetterUp. Speaking from their $14 million Hollywood mansion, Harry, who has zero experience in business, scolded companies to give employees “time to focus on themselves.” I thought employees were being paid to do a job, not indulge in company sponsored meditation time to think soothing thoughts about self-improvement.

In a speech promoting BetterUp, Harry whined about how his sad life as a Prince in England, and all the “bad stuff” he went through as a member of the Royal Family. He neglected to mention that, because of the monarchy, he is heir to a fortune worth millions of dollars. He revealed that he is now a “life coach” teaching people how to accomplish “inner work,” a New Age psychobabble concept. His pitch to businesses was this: “You can’t expect your people to put in the work on themselves when you’re not giving them time to do it.” Read that as follows: companies should pay people to engage in spiritual development while at work. Obviously, productivity and labor are concepts beyond his understanding. All this from a couple who have a $25 million deal with Spotify and a $150 contract with Netflix!

But Prince Harry’s main punchline was this: “When bad things happen there’s a lesson here, I’m being schooled by the universe [that] there is a something for me to learn.” Are people supposed to take this seriously from a guy who has never been gainfully employed or spent a hard day’s work in his life? No wonder he encouraged people who feel stuck in their jobs that “don’t bring them joy” to quit, that leaving work was a thing “to be celebrated.” He says that for him the path is daily meditation. Tell that to a single mom trying to responsibly hold job to raise and care for a couple kids.

These ideas are straight from Meghan’s show-biz, New Age, Oprah-influenced, concept of spirituality. And throw in Markle’s mom who has been a fulltime yoga instructor who raised Meghan with a Hindu, Kundalini, New Age outlook on life. Sadly, you can be certain that Harry’s daily meditations aren’t on the Bible or seeking the purpose of Christ for his life.

It reminds me of the bumper sticker I recently saw: “I trust the Universe.” So, what’s this Universe thing about? Witchcraft. It’s the belief that somewhere out there is a primordial, beneficent power guiding each of us to happiness. Get out of line with bad karma, and the Universe will teach you a lesson to get you back on the path to personal enlightenment. This Universe is a substitute for God, a false reality where there are no rules, no Commandments, no defined moral code. It’s what you feel that matters. Whatever you think your Inner Self is saying must be the voice of the Universe. Biblically speaking, that’s witchcraft. Or as Harry calls it, “Global consciousness.” No Christ, no cross, no empty tomb. Just an ethereal, universal mind, straight of the neopagan playbook of spiritualism, with an empty-your-mind kind of meditation that opens doors to demons.

This spiritual agenda is exactly what Jezebel wants. Don’t buy Harry and Meghan’s gobbledygook, doublespeak New Age ideas of spirituality. Harry didn’t die for your sins, Jesus did. Meghan doesn’t offer you eternal life, only a meal at the trough of warmed-over occultism dressed up with social media marketing. Don’t meditate like Harry to empty your mind for whatever the “Universe” wants to dump into it. Fill your mind with the wonders of the ways and the Word of God. Psalm 97:10 says, “You that love the Lord, hate evil.” That’s the way to a life of true fulfillment on the job and off the job. Resorting to New Age witchcraft ideas is spiritually deadly. As Proverbs 14:2 says, “There is a way that seems right to a man, but its end is the way of death.”

Deliverance Done Wrong

Consider this scenario. A patient walks into doctor’s office and complains of excruciating headaches, blurred vision, confusion, and occasional seizures. The doctor orders no CT scan and no blood tests. His advice is, “Go home, take 2 aspirins, get a good night’s sleep, and you’ll be okay in the morning.”  The patient takes the advice but awakens next day with an even worse headache. He calls 911 and is rushed to the hospital, but he is dead of a brain tumor before he gets there. Would you call what I’ve described medical malpractice? Should that doctor be sued? Should a medical review board take up the case and consider barring this doctor from practicing medicine? Is this medicine done wrong?

In a spiritual sense, this same storyline is played out hundreds, perhaps thousands, of times each day across America. A suffering and tormented individual hears voices in his head saying, “Kill yourself.” This individual also sees shadows out the corner of his eyes. Objects move. There are sounds of footsteps when no one is there. The person feels something moving inside like a snake. Odd accidents keep occurring. Dreams of someone offering food happens regularly. Other nights, dreams of sexual assault occur. This tortured soul goes to his pastor and tells what is happening.

The pastor listens to this tale of woe. He asks no questions like, “Does anyone in your family practice witchcraft? Have you dabbled in the occult? Were you ever a victim of sexual abuse? Has anyone in your bloodline practiced Freemasonry? Have you attempted suicide or engaged in self-harm? Have you prayed to break family curses?”

This typical pastor will at worst pawn the person off to a psychiatrist. At best he’ll suggest a “healing ministry.” The psychiatrist will put this individual on meds and ask few questions. The healing ministry may offer some spiritual self-analysis and soothing prayers. If there is a “prophet” present, this well-meaning person may attempt a diagnosis with a “word from the Lord,” objectively unverifiable and lacking investigative due diligence.

Seldom ever does anyone in deliverance or healing ministry ask the right questions — informed and incisive questions like we teach people to ask in our School of Exorcism. And almost never does anyone demand a demonic manifestation. There is seldom an interrogation of the tormenting evil spirits to find out the root cause of the spiritual attack. I call this deliverance malpractice. Deliverance done wrong.

I am passionate about confronting this problem because every day I meet the victims of deliverance done wrong. They come to me because they’ve watched me online confront demons and do exorcisms. In most cases what I do doesn’t remotely resemble what they’ve been through. I listen, I examine, I ask question, I probe, and most of all I directly confront the evil inside them. By the power of Jesus Christ, I force demons to manifest and reveal their secrets. There is no magic to this, just decades of gaining knowledge and experience, which I share openly in our School of Exorcism. What I do others can do, and what graduates of our School of Exorcism and Advanced Academy do every day all over the world.

Too many people have suffered from deliverance malpractice for too long. They have been shouted at, prophesied over, and given unstudied advice. They are told that their demons are gone when they haven’t really left. They are advised to just read their Bibles more, go to church more, and give more. And if that doesn’t work, their spiritual agony is somehow their fault. They just aren’t spiritual enough. But I see it differently.

From my perspective, with most cases of spiritual oppression, the onus for failure isn’t on the supplicant who seeks relief. It’s on the ill-experienced, uninformed, and poorly prepared deliverance minister who is following a model of spiritual intervention that doesn’t work. They may be sincere in wanting to help people, but that’s no excuse for poorly done deliverance. In these Last Days of demonic onslaught, Christians need to learn the right way to minister healing and freedom from demonic bondage and stop doing deliverance wrong.

There are some excellent deliverance ministers who understand what I’m saying. They share my concerns. Even if their model is slightly different from what the Lord has shown me, they see the need for a better way of helping those bound by Satan. I’ve featured some of these ministries on our weekly livestream, “Bob Larson Live.” Read my books and their books. Watch them and watch me. Get educated about true spiritual warfare. Schedule a personal encounter with me. Enroll in our School of Exorcism. The right kind of help is available so you can do deliverance right, not wrong.
