Christian Porn

Her name is Nadia Bolz-Weber, and she’s a Lutheran pastor. Her views are even more disconcerting than the pastoral pose from her Facebook page. Bolz-Weber is on a mission to legitimize what she calls “ethically-sourced porn” by removing “shame” from the industry which thrives on copulating, naked bodies of unmarried intimates. This woman-of-the-cloth does not believe that anyone who views pornography should feel ashamed. The Evangelical Lutheran Church of America even invited her to speak to more than 30,000 Lutheran youth. Her web site boldly declares “Cast those purity rings into the fire!” She said that she wants to melt down the rings and use the gold for a vagina statue for women’s rights. Until recently, she pastored a church called House for All Sinners. She was recently replaced by a gay Episcopal pastor who is married to a drag queen and goes by the name “Fruit Bomb.” No, I’m not making this up. Bolz-Weber, a self-described “dyke” who, until recently was married to a man, is a “New York Times” best-selling author.

Like or loath this pro-porn-pastor, she’s on to something. I did a quick check of the listings for the most popular web sites in America and discovered that 3 of the top 8 are adult porn dot-coms. Even Twitter and Wikipedia lag in popularity behind smut sites. Proven Men Ministries, a Christian group helping men with porn addictions, reports research that 2/3 of men in the U.S. admit to viewing porn at least once a month. Three out of ten aged 18-30 gawk daily. As the character Pogo in the old newspaper cartoon used to say, “We have met the enemy, and he is us!”

My point isn’t to insist on shame for those Christians struggling with porn. They’re already shamed. I’ll not quote a list of Bible verses that warn of lust and extol purity. Most of my readers already know those passages. My point is to warn of a spiritually tectonic shift in the moral climate of America and a coming moral earthquake in the Christian church. As an exorcist, let me be blunt. Looking at porn destroys marriages, leads to perversions including child molestation and incest, and it fosters demonization. Looking at porn is not only truly shameful but also demonic. There is no way to Christianize porn and remove the mortification and self-hatred it breeds. The so-called pastor whose abominations I’ve already noted above is full of demons. And it’s not hard to know who’s the chief spirit. Only Jezebel would dare to call porn Christian and seek to remove its shame.

An encouraging word: GOD VINDICATES

We’ve all felt at one time or another that we were unjustly treated or misunderstood. But I am encouraged by David’s words in Psalm 17:2: May my vindication come from you [God], may your eyes see what is right. When you feel you’ve been harshly judged or wrongly accused, release your hurt to the Lord. He judges all things fairly by a divine standard. It is better to be vindicated by God than to be falsely praised by men.

Epigenetic Evidence

Emerging evidence suggests that the consequences of mistreatment in childhood may persist down the generations, affecting a victim’s children or grandchildren, even if they have experienced no abuse themselves.

“Stress Test,” The Economist, May 26, 2018

Our book “Dealing with Demons,” beginning on page 64, reports regarding the emerging neurobiological study of epigenetics. Citing research published in the journal “Biological Psychiatry,” we explain recent findings that, “One generation’s maladies can become the next generation’s emotional hindrances.” Our point is that science is now proving the genetic reality of curses being passed from generation to generation. We present much evidence from secular sources that the effects of evil can be conferred trans-generationally. (To order our book click here.)

Now, comes more recent research which further proves what scripture has been saying since the Decalogue nearly 3,500 years ago! “The Economist” article cited above is based on evidence that psychological stress affects sperm which in turn explains how “life experiences can have effects on its offspring.” One study was based on mice, suffering from deliberately induced stress by so-called “cage-shuffling.” The findings proved that, “The effects of cage-shuffling seem to last for at least three generations.” Surely, that echoes the words of Exodus 20:5, warning that the consequences of spiritual disobedience visit “the iniquities of the fathers upon the children until the third and fourth generation.”

Without question, the evil of one generation genetically visits the next. That’s Scripture, and that’s science. The only question is whether born-again Christian are immune from this principle. Most preachers say “Yes, Christians are immune,” but our book “Curse Breaking” (p. 22 – To order click here.), and teachings from our International School of Exorcism (To enroll click here.), effectively prove that Christians can be, and are, effected by unbroken curses.

Epigenetic evidence underscores the teaching of Scripture that believers can be hindered by the evil of their ancestors. It’s not often that secular science and the Bible are so clearly in agreement, but the verdict is in. To walk in spiritual victory, unhindered by ancestral evil, every follower of Christ needs to confront and renounce family curses. Don’t just take my word for it. Consider the epigenetic evidence!

An encouraging word: ANSWERING CHRISTIAN CRITICS

In my many years of ministry, I’ve had vicious attacks leveled at me by Christians. How do I handle it? One way is to remember what Nehemiah said while rebuilding the temple. His critics insisted that he stop his God-appointed mission and answer their accusations. He answered in Nehemiah 6:3, “I am carrying on a great project and cannot go down. Why should the work stop while I leave it and go down to you?” This happened five times. (The devil is persistent.) Reasonable questions should be answered, but the attacks of Satan are only worth the response Nehemiah gave. Say it kindly, but say it firmly, “No!”

Doctrines of Demons

One of the least understood scriptures in the New Testament is 1 Timothy 4:1. Let’s consider it in the classic King James Version:

Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils. KJV

These words of the apostle Paul are highlighted by the promotional banner you see above, a photo taken by a friend who lives in nearby Tucson, Arizona. Note the slogan at the top:

You don’t need salvation . . . the Real of you has never been lost.

That unbiblical and blasphemous statement is juxtaposed to the seemingly orthodox comment below regarding the omnipresence of God. Such theological confusion shouldn’t surprise anyone aware of cultish groups such as the Unity School of Christianity. Unity, founded in the late nineteenth century by Charles and Myrtle Fillmore of Kansas City, Missouri, teaches that all world religions are equally valid, and that Christianity is just one of many paths to God. Unity’s emphasis on positive thinking belies the cult’s deceptive beliefs in reincarnation, including the blasphemy that Jesus Christ was King David reincarnated.

The idea of Unity that there’s no need for the blood atonement of Christ is one of many doctrines, creedal statements of belief, that demons teach today, such as:

  • God is One, but the paths to him are many.
  • A loving God wouldn’t send sinners to an eternal Hell.
  • If you’re sincere, God won’t deny you entrance to Heaven.

Parse the doctrines of demons more specifically, concerning deliverance, and you get these falsehoods:

  • Once a person is saved, no Christian can have a demon.
  • The Holy Spirit and a demon spirit can’t dwell in the same vessel.
  • During deliverance, demons should be commanded to remain silent.
  • All generational curses were annulled by the death of Christ on the Cross.

As Jesus warned in Mark 7:7, we must always be conscious that what we teach isn’t a doctrine that comes from the “commandments of men.”

Plainly put, Unity’s banner that the “real you has never been lost,” is a lie. Luke 19:10 clearly states that Christ came to save those who are lost. Our International School of Exorcism provides voluminous historical and theological support for the truth that Christians may be demonically invaded. Before you assume that something is true, just because some famous preacher said it, or because some religious group declares it, consider whether what you believe is truly biblical or a doctrine of demons!

An encouraging word: LET GOD SEARCH YOUR HEART

“I The Lord search the heart and examine the mind” (Jeremiah 17:10). Have you ever thought about that? There is nothing in your soul which the Lord doesn’t know. Every thought, each aspiration, every temptation you’ve allowed. If God examines our minds, how much more should we be careful to guard everything that enters the world of our imagination. Take inventory today of what you’ve allowed into your heart and by examination get rid of what’s not pleasing to God, before He, who knows your heart, finds it necessary to chasten your mind.

I witness more miracles in one day than most preachers see in a lifetime!

I’m privileged to be involved in the ministry of inner healing, deliverance, and exorcism. During an average week, I spend 5-6 days ministering directly to individuals in-person, via Skype, or by phone. In a single day I meet with as many as four or five, and sometimes up to eight or ten individuals.

These are people living in demonic bondage. They come burdened with oppression. They leave free to live as they were meant to live in Christ!

Curses are lifted! Diseases are healed! Poverty is defeated! Relationships are restored!

Every case is different. Measures of victory vary. But all receive an encounter with Jesus and His power to set free those bound by the devil.

By God’s grace, we find demons others missed. We uncover undetected curses. We push to get to the root behind broken lives and dashed dreams.

Halloween Hangover

The morning after Halloween, Satan’s signature was still evident in the neighborhood where we live. The photo above, which I took just a block down the street, features a graveyard in the front yard, along with a glowering ghost and the Grim Reaper. Nearby were political voter signs, some for senate candidate Kyrsten Sinema, who in 2009 invited a coven of witches to an antiwar protest so they, in her words, could “dance and stay in touch with the earth.” During another protest, she joined a group of witches in a “pagan’s circle” to “sing and spiral.” What kind of politician summons the assistance of witches and then endorses ads trashing her opponent, a former fighter pilot who risked her life for her country? That’s not a political endorsement, but you make the obvious spiritual connection!

Remember Sabrina the teenage witch of Archie comics fame? The sorcerer of Riverdale has now gone way over to the other side of evil. In a new Netflix series, “Chilling Adventures of Sabrina,” the 16-year-old witch signs on with Satan. She undergoes a “dark baptism” (her face is anointed with blood) and sells her soul to the devil. Kiernan Shipka, the actress who plays the role says of her character, “Her fearlessness and her passion to fight for what’s right is inspiring to me. I’m happy to see that teenagers are being portrayed on television as individuals and smart.” Smart? What kind of Hollywood parallel universe is she living in, calling her blood-covenant surrender to Satan “smart?” Since when has it become intelligent to bow before the devil and invite demons to enter with an occult baptism?

America has a Halloween hangover, a bender that seems to last all year long. Today it’s not enough to parody the devil with a red tail and pitchfork. The Ruler of Darkness has gone beyond such cartoonish imagery to brazenly inspire the kinds of foolishness I’ve just detailed—celebrating demonic death in suburbia, enlisting witchcraft to win elections, and promoting the idea that a teenager selling her soul to Satan is a feminine hero for adolescent women. America’s Halloween hangover has our society stumbling drunk on its way to hell, and the spiritual collapse of our nation. The only hope is a bold encounter with the Gospel that challenges the devil and his demons head-on with the blood of Jesus and the power of His name.

An encouraging word: GOD EXTENDS HIS MERCY TO YOU

“I was formerly a blasphemer, a persecutor, an insolent man.” That self-description is brutally and painfully honest.” Imagine a politician saying that today with any sense of contriteness. These words of 1 Timothy 1:13 were spoken by the apostle Paul. Such self-confession was not to glorify his past sin, but to emphasize the greatness of God’s mercy. Few of us, no matter how bad our past, have been as evil as Paul. And he might have added the word “murderer,” for his killing of Christians. If you’re feeling a little down on yourself today, I doubt you have a past as bad as that of the man whose writings fill the New Testament letters. If Paul obtained God’s mercy, as he says later in that verse, so can you.

Why Wait?

A common theme of those who contact our ministry is that they’ve waited too long too
take seek spiritual help. Here’s what they say:
  • I’ve known about you for years but never got around to calling.
  • Every time I decided to reach out, something always got in the way.
  • I’ve been to other ministries for help, but the problems kept coming back.
Not everyone gets all their problems solved in one Skype or personal one-on-one session, but many do. At least they know more than ever about why life went wrong.

One Encounter client said, “I got more in an hour than three years of therapy.”

Another commented, “You got quickly to the root of my problems.”

Why wait? Come to a seminar city near you. Come to our beautiful counseling facility in Phoenix, Arizona. (It’s warm and sunny this time of year.) Arrange a face-to-face Skype session from anywhere in the world.

DON’T WAIT! Don’t delay the answer to your physical, emotional and spiritual torment.
